CHALLENGE:
The first hair awards show of it’s kind, behindthechair.com’s #ONESHOT Hair Awards, an Instagram based awards program, took off like wildfire in 2015. With over 135,000 entries and 281 hand-picked finalists, #ONESHOT Hair Awards is establishing a presence in the hair industry. There are many different pieces that must come together when producing a show of this size. As the designer on this project, I make sure everything comes together as planned.
SOLUTION:
My role in this awards show is to aid in producing the overall look and feel of the awards. I also execute many online marketing channels, including weekly and daily e-blasts, landing page design and updates and social media posts. #ONESHOT Hair Awards is held at behindthechair.com’s annual COLOR, Cut & Style show. For the show, I design and place large scale banners, and create slideshows for the LED screens.
